Project Summary:
The SARDEP project supports vulnerable rural communities by promoting agro-ecology as a pathway to resilience, food security, and sustainable livelihoods. Through training, technical support, and resource mobilization, the project enables households to adopt climate-resilient farming techniques, diversify production, and strengthen economic independence. By focusing on both crop and livestock systems, the initiative enhances nutrition, increases income opportunities, and reduces reliance on external inputs. The project contributes to long-term community resilience by transferring skills, strengthening local capacities, and fostering sustainable agricultural systems that continue to benefit target groups beyond the project period.
