Caritas Buea is the social and development arm of catholic Diocese of Buea, dedicated to promoting human dignity and improving the lives of vulnerable people through sustainable programs.
Rooted in the values of the Gospel and the teachings of the church, CARITAS Buea works with communities to provide support, restore hope, and build a better future for all.
The vision of CARITAS in the Diocese of Buea is to "Share LOVE and free the world from misery."
Our mission is lived out through relief and assistance to the most underprivileged, poverty alleviation and development initiatives, collaboration with partners, evangelization and faith witnessing, self-initiated education and empowerment, and the formation of parish-level Caritas structures. In all these, we strive to promote solidarity, dignity, and responsibility, empowering people to move from dependence to freedom while bearing witness to their faith in daily life.

Caritas Buea is a non-profit charitable organization operating under the Catholic Diocese of Buea, Cameroon. Founded on 22nd August 2013 by His Lordship Bishop Immanuel Bushu, we are driven by the values of Love, Dignity and Solidarity. Under the leadership of Mr. Pierre Ernest Tchinda, we serve the most vulnerable in society.
