God's Love
Implemented by Caritas Buea with the support of Conferenza Episcopale Italiana, this WASH project is aimed at improving access to safe drinking water, promoting hygiene and sanitation, and reducing the risk of cholera and other waterborne diseases within vulnerable communities affected by the socio-political crisis.
The project supports communities through:
– Installation of boreholes equipped with pumps, generators, water towers, and water tanks.
– Establishment of functional Water, Hygiene, and Sanitation Management Committees.
– Participatory development of internal management rules.
– Community training on Humanitarian Principles, Leadership, and Business Plan Development.
– Provision of sanitation and cleaning materials.
– Development of mini business plans for project sustainability.
– Production of TV and radio programs to raise awareness on hygiene and sanitation.
